My name is Minami Junya. I’m 22 years old. I’m from Aichi.
Four years have passed since I came to Fukui.
I belonged to the canoe club when I was undergraduate.
The Canoe club in Fukui University is a canoepolo.
Canoepolo is called martial arts on the water.
It is an interesting sport using canoes and water polo.
I belonged to the track and field club when I was junior high school, high school.
I had never done much ball games. However, It is a sport that is easy for even people who are new to play ball game! Why do not you even try canoepolo? J
After I retire from the canoe club, I play beach ball volleyball with the laboratory and teachers at Fukui University gymnasium every Wednesday afternoon.
I love to exercise. The other thing I like is watching movies and bowling and drinking with my friends.
My favorite music artists are “Southern All Stars” and “BAND-MAID” recently.
My poor person is touching insects and eating shellfish. Because both appearances are disgusting.
I am researching and experimenting with gas permeable membranes in the laboratory.
Experiments and research are serious but it is fun to have good results.
Thank you.

Poly(diphenylacetylene)s are expected to be applied as a material for gas separation membranes since they show a very high gas permeability due to a rigid main chain structure and bulky substituents.
For example, the oxygen permeability coefficient of poly (p-trimethylsilyldiphenylacetylene) is as high as 1500 barrer.
Applications include the manufacture of medical oxygen enriched air for respiratory disease patients, Production of oxygen-enriched air for combustion to improve the combustion efficiency of the combustion furnace, It is used as an oxygen enrichment membrane for domestic appliances such as air conditioners and health equipments in order to exhilarate feeling and refreshing effect.
However, since oxygen selectivity to nitrogen is low and permeability also changes over time, a stable polymer film is required which can selectively permeate oxygen.
Therefore, there is a method called selective passing of oxygen called a molecular sieve, which is a method of sifting large molecules and small molecules using the difference in molecular size.
Since polymer is moving even in the solid state, it is impossible to achieve complete molecular sieving with polymer membrane, but by fixing small pores in the membrane to some extent, it is thought that the effect of molecular sieve which makes oxygen molecules smaller in size more easily diffuse than nitrogen molecules can be obtained.
We are studying to increase the molecular sieve effect by crosslinking the polymer to suppress the movement of the side chain of the polymer chain and to make the intermolecular gap uniform. At the same time, since polymer chains are fixed by crosslinking, it is considered that change with time of gas permeability due to change in intermolecular space can also be suppressed. In this study, synthesis of acetylene polymer by metathesis polymerization of diphenylacetylene having a vinyl group or vinyloxy group as a crosslinking site in the side chain is studied.
Then crosslink with the vinyl group or vinyloxy group of the synthesized polymer side chain.
After that, crosslinked poly (diphenylacetylene) film is prepared, and the gas permeation measurement of the film before crosslinking and crosslinking is carried out.
We are studying the gas permeability by crosslinking in comparison.

Centralized concentration in Tokyo
According to the Japanese population dynamics survey, the population of Japan as of January 1, 2016 has been decreasing for seven years. Especially this year, 271,834 people decreased from the previous year and it was the biggest decrease since 1968 when the survey started. Meanwhile, the population of the metropolitan area, mainly Tokyo, has increased by about 110,000 from the previous year, and in particular Tokyo accounts for about 86,000 people. This means that one concentration in Tokyo is accelerating.
The reason is that many workplaces and commercial facilities are gathered for the living environment and people tend to gather in urban areas every year.
What are the merits and disadvantages of concentrating on Tokyo? Why do people gather in Tokyo?
Because there are many people, transportation efficiency and transport efficiency are improved, leading to productivity improvement, making it easier to get what you want quickly, making it ideal for making money with a lot of work It is conceivable.
On the other hand, if people gather in Tokyo as a disadvantage, inevitably the population of rural areas will decline and depopulation will progress. It is considered to be one of the reasons for the economic disparity between rural and urban areas.
Also, because people, politics and finances are concentrated in Tokyo, there is a possibility that the function of the country will be suspended as a major natural disaster happens when it suffers great damage.
Since the Tokyo Olympic Games will be held in 2020, further concentration is expected. For that, I think that we should look to rural areas and make improvements.
To that end, a method to divide people, goods, money into rural areas is necessary, and the improvement of regional economic power will not only limit the concentration of one's pole to Tokyo, it will be the optimal policy from various perspectives.
I also feel Tokyo is an attractive city.
But as people gather, the problem gets so swollen that I think that the concentration in Japan in Tokyo is abnormal.
There are many wonderful places in rural areas.
How do you guys think about this?

My opinion on 'I do not need compulsory education.'

Currently Japan is obliged to enroll in elementary school and junior high school between the ages of 6 and 15.In the past nine years we have learned a lot and I am studying.
I notice lots of things in my same age with my same colleagues. Whether it is good or bad at studying, whether sports are good or not good, whether you like to spend with people, whether it is easier to be alone. You can find the difference between yourself and others. I also received compulsory education indeed and I was able to gain a lot of experience. Fun and happy occasionally there were days when my teacher was angry and there were many hard days. Although there was such a thing, I think that it is a good system that can accumulate many experiences equally in compulsory education.
According to the author this time, I am advocating that compulsory education is not necessary. I think that I need it.
The reason is as mentioned at the beginning. There are certainly there are merits of abolishing compulsory education as I mentioned, but I will give a disadvantage. The abolition by compulsory education frees children to educate, the demand of teachers and others decreases, and many teachers lose their jobs. As money is involved, studies may become luxuries in poor families, and families that children can not receive education may come out.
Moreover, I think that it is difficult to think that bullying disappears by abolishing compulsory education. I think that it is not bad for advancing system, primary school, secondary school system at secondary school as it is overseas school. Japanese academic standards are top in advanced countries. I often hear stories that the Japanese children's academic ability is declining, but that is not the case. Japan conducts academic research at elementary and junior high schools across the country. In other countries, it is sometimes that only advanced schools receive academic ability research.
If you think so, you will be given opportunities for children to study by compulsory education and you will see that the quality is high. I think that it is not good to abolish compulsory education that can receive education equally.
